Service is great, prices are excellent and even tough they only have a cold platter, it’s amazing in quality. Added bonus is the tables in the water, the waterfall flooding one of the terraces. Last but not least, there is a deep part where you can take a dip! Terrible service. I had to wait 20 min just to buy a beer. One staff was rushing to serve the whole restaurant and the other was doing nothing just selling ice creams 😂 common sense… you can do better Visiting this magical historic mill and taverna was the highlight of our trip to Croatia. Meet the fun and warm family who has owned the mill for generations and have perfected the art of making prosciutto, wine, cheese, olives - making the charcuterie and tomatoes served exclusively an amazing treat. Magical? Dangle your feet into the refreshing stream below the waterfalls that once fed the mill while dining on tables immersed in the water. Magical? If you’re lucky the father and son will play the guitar and sing in between serving. They also offer their tangerine liquor after your meal. This is a not to be missed experience. Period. Simple but very very nice food from kind local people. ( bread, selection of different cheeses, salami, prosciutto, bacon & fresh tomato, onion and paprika) We enjoyed a lot! Honestly one of the highlights of our 2 week European excursion! We got lucky and arrived when they had an opening to sit in the waterfall for our lunch! Worth every penny! It was €30 with a fixed menu of meats, cheese and bread with a glass of wine or beer and a shot of local liquor included. We were asked to switch tables at one point during our meal and were offered another glass of wine on the house, which we took them up on. I would highly recommend a stop here for lunch! Rude staff, group of them sat outside the restaurant, trying to antagonise a teen child, laughing and staring, Tapping him on the back, bullying behaviours, unprofessional of staff that represent the restaurant. Parent had to step in, as you would expect better from young adults, disgusting behaviour. As locals/staff should act with professionalism, especially in a national park! Beautiful surroundings, so it’s a shame we was faced with this situations!
