Üsküp’ün tarihi sokaklarından, taş köprüsünden ve hareketli çarşısından biraz uzaklaşınca karşınıza huzurla dolu bir vaha çıkar: Gazi Baba Parkı. Şehrin doğusunda, aynı adlı Gazi Baba ilçesinde yer alan bu yemyeşil alan, kalabalıktan kaçmak ve doğayla baş başa kalmak isteyenler için adeta bir saklı cennettir. Ben ilk gittiğimde sabah saatleriydi. Kuş sesleri, hafif bir esinti ve gölgelerle dans eden yapraklar karşıladı beni. Gazi Baba Parkı, sadece yürümek değil, soluklanmak, içe dönmek ve şehirle arana tatlı bir mesafe koymak için ideal bir yer. Ağaçların oluşturduğu doğal koridorlarda yürürken, hayat bir süreliğine yavaşlıyor gibi hissettiriyor. 🌳 Doğanın Kucağında Park, geniş yürüyüş yolları, spor alanları ve banklarla dolu. Ailece gelenler için çocuk parkları ve piknik alanları mevcut. Yer yer çam ağaçlarının arasında kaybolmuş gibi hissediyorsunuz, ki bu parkın en güzel yanı: hem şehirde hem de şehirden çok uzakta olmak. Üsküp’ün yaz sıcaklarında serin bir kaçamak; bahar aylarında ise renklerin dans ettiği bir tablo gibi... Mayıs ayında giderseniz her yer çiçek açmış oluyor. Özellikle sabah saatlerinde yürüyüş yapan yerli halkla selamlaşmak, bu parkın size sadece bir ziyaret noktası değil, bir yaşam parçası gibi hissettirmesini sağlıyor. 📸 Fotoğrafçılar ve Doğa Tutkunları İçin Gazi Baba Parkı, sadece huzur arayanlar için değil; aynı zamanda doğa fotoğrafçıları için de ideal bir mekân. Işık oyunları, ağaçların gölgeleri ve zaman zaman karşınıza çıkan sincaplar ya da kuşlar, burayı adeta açık hava stüdyosuna dönüştürüyor. How to get there: take e.g. bus 50 to the bus stop at Continental or at Merkur. I chose the first stop, then you need to go west 50-100m to be able to walk under the boulevard. It is possible to follow Arhimedova street (keep to the left where there are stairs) and then a path to the north close to Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (this path is not shown in Google Maps) This path is a little scary, you are in a close to a a wall and with lots of garbage. There is a hole in the wall where you get out on a wider path. It is safer from the second stop, then just walk 400m north at Makedonska Brigada 400m and then take to the left. The park: It is very empty, I thought it should be many people, fountains, possibilities to buy coffeé etc. It is more used for exercises as running, walking and biking. The man running track is about 1600m and marked every 100m. The rest are smaller paths. There is also a tomb easily found via Google Maps. Not much to see, looks very abandoned. There is a small fountain with water, close to the unsafe area with the forest. When I was there a man that seemed homeless came out of the bushes. One of the beautiful where you can have a nice picnic. Gazi Baba is a that contains Church Meeting of the Lord - Zhelezara, Gazi Baba Tomb and Tomb of the King's Daughter on the outskirts of the forest. The contains two fresh springs, but only one is operational. Trails go throughout the with a large number of covered benches for shade. I have treaded this many times. There is on big meadow in the lover part of the and a few smaller on at the top and along the “red blocks”. There are at least 2 drinkable taps and a few bunkers that expose the pipes. At the top there is one watchtower. It is a very pleasant place to walk, peaceful and not very crowded. Especially enjoyable during workdays. Very nice place for rest and spending time out for all nearby citizens. It is great for family time out, for recreational sports people, for young people to spend social time out. A lot constructed places to seat down and have chairs, tables and roof to protect you from sun or rain, but not enough cans for garbage collection. If you want to spend time in the nature, that is a good place, but you must being with you beverage or food if you are spending time there. There is no shop or place where you can buy or coffee, or food.. Just bring your smile and adventurous spirit.🙂 Great place to jogg, there is also outdoor gym and place where you can sit with great city view, everything which you need to chill out. Approved! I saw a mermaid The lungs of Skopje Around 3 km from the center of the city. Its accessible with car until some point. There are several entrances, depending from which side you'll come. It's a great place to run and there is space to workout and do calisthenics. There is a dog also. Quiet no traffic no buildinga peaceful Nice park, pretty big and many paths and places to explore, also nice veiw of Skopje. Ok Ok This doesn't even deserve 1 star! There is no fountains, no that is safe for drinking and the biggest problem is that there are a lot of insects and dogs!
