Very nice place to enjoy classical music. New building...so clean&nice staff. Accustic was great! Great building to enjoy different type of events. The place is huge and really new. There is plenty of seats. The sound and the acoustic inside is fantastic. There is a cloakroom in the basement of the building. The toilets are always clean. Great acoustics, comfortable seats, easy access and modern architecture. Polite staff at the ticket counter and the wardrobe. Would be nice to have more frequent concerts! The phillharmony hall is outstanding to listen to simphonic orchestra, the sounds touch you deeply whilst the interior design is of next level, really innovative and very creative Skopje is a great place to come for a concert; I’m ashamed to say that back when I first came to Skopje I assumed that the arts here would have been dominated by the old ‘Skopje 2014’ petty sectarian and political influences (which have blighted the city with bathroom grade marble, facades and weirdly amateurish rusting metal statues) but I’ve come to realise that it’s vibrant, lively and the standard of performances at both the opera house and the Philharmonic hall show that Macedonia punches above its weight in the arts, and concerts are well attended. It’s actually cheaper for us to fly to Skopje, stay in Pelister and attend the opera, have a day of shopping and sightseeing and then fly back to London than to pay for a night out at the opera or ballet at Covent Garden. One small criticism is that the high mounted speakers in the Makedonska Filharmonija are amplified too much and consequently the sound can be clipped, distorted and unpleasant- this is simple to fix! Surprisingly good acoustics in this one. I enjoyed many musical performances and didn't have any objections. Comfortable seats as well. Well done! Synthesis 30th Anniversary concert was incredible! Very modern and good looking building, perfect for any concert or show. Unfortunately it is hidden behind a ton of other buildings thus obstructing it’s view from the center. Amazing place.
