The air is beautiful and clear and the area appears well managed, the car up the mountain is a real treat, as it goes on for a long time, maybe 10 minutes. And very often you’ll not have to share a car with strangers. The day we spent here was one of my favourite activities in Skopje. What a beautiful and serene place. It's a good starting point for the descent towards Vodno and I would recommend you to visit here lastly. A nice little park area with a place to buy drinks after your hike. Some places appear to have closed down. This is one of the perfect places in Skopje to escape the heat and the city rush. The gondola takes you to the peak and the millennium Cross. Amazing place for weekend relaxing and enjoying the nature. It is connected with a bus line from the city center and it is connected with the top of the mountain Vodno with a train 🚠🚡 you can enjoy the nature totally free. Come here prepared with water and only if you are not scared as you might be the only person here :) Great little place to sit and picnic surrounded by woods and the most beautiful birdsong. A small wooden playground i would personally expand using natural materials, but its not bad even like this. There are a few places to get an ice cream and a hot drink. Great places and walks near Skopje when you want to be in nature and you do not have the opportunity to travel to distant places.  Visit early morning to avoid the crowds and enjoy the peace and quiet. Local neandrathal visitors leave a lot of garbage behind. It's wonderful to drink mulled wine here in winter. The prices are reasonable, and the view is magnificent. Plus, you can get here by car. I'll definitely be back. Good starting point to go to the peak or just escape from the city hassle. Although it could be crowded on the weekends, you can get a car and go to the peak. Of course hike is the best option. Lots of routes start from here and depending on your stamina in one hour you can be at 1060 masl. Very serene with stunning views over Skopje. Great way to spend 1-2 hours.
