From the outset it was clear the waitress had no idea of what she was supposed to be doing. She bought one English menu for a table of 8 French people, bought only two glasses of water and the place was listed on Google as busier than usual when it was completely empty that alone should have been a red flag. The waitress made so many errors in our orders we gave up pointing them out to her. At best the food can be described as terrible canteen food. There are many places on the beach in espinho, but this is definitely not one yo go to. AVOID One of the most disgusting things I have ever attempted to eat. I ordered a hot dog. Expecting a hot dog. Instead I got a pound of cheese and tomato soup. The menu is not descriptive at all. Offers zero insight on what you are actually eating. The floors are rotten wood and aren't secured to the point that my aunt actually fell when entering. That should have been our sign to leave Would not recommend Love this restaurant! The service too slow wasn't busy wen i arrive . I finished my buket of gin tonic and food well tapas (no cooking need) arrived and wrongh order. The tapas was very basic and the (garlic bread) can see was very very old bread . However the waiter was lovely. Save by the weather:) Lovely laid back cafe/bar. Plays soul music, has friendly helpful staff. Serves tapas & snacks with drinks. Went there a couple of times when passing through on travels. Would recommend for a seafront café & would visit again when passing through. I order a francezinha and it was disgusting!!! I’ve never eat a francezinha of this bad quality! I usually love to eat francezinha dish but not there! Waist of money! And none of the staff had a smile on their face. They looked like they were at a funeral. Very disappointing overall. Best coffee I’ve got in espinho. The temperature was perfect so that the coffee had still a lot of aroma. The music is also nice and the staff was very friendly!
