Filsø Ellipsen

Henne, Denmark Tourist attraction

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Great new visitor place and structure. Filsø near Henne Strand on the west coast of Jutland was once one of Denmark's largest lakes, but was drained in various projects between 1852 and 1951 to create agricultural land on the poor coastline. In 2011, Aage V. Jensen's NaturFond bought the area to bring it back to its natural state, and recreate the large as a recreational area for the joy and benefit of tourists and residents. visitor site consists of an access road, a communication building, a landscape bridge and a parking space for the visitors. The road goes through protected and spectacular nature to the parking lot and the large ellipse, which in a single form both grabs the communication building and unfolds the large horizon that the water mirror creates. From the bridge you can experience Filsø and the vast landscape, where you can in one and the same panning movement get very close to the water level and the area's unique nature. The elliptical shape emphasizes the unifying, continuous movement through the area from arrival and back. It is equipped with a solid seat edge that allows you to take a break and enjoy the view. Nice place at filsø. Free entry. Enjoyed it. The ellipsen itself was nice but the nature walk over the was the main attraction in my opinion. ♿ Entrance = Yes ♿ Parking = Yes ♿ Building = Yes ♿ Elevator / Ramps = Ramps This is a wonderful place if you go around the temperature of 20-28 Celsius. There is a lot of wind to Cool you off, beautiful and peaceful sight and walking through the nature and you can walk all the other way to the other side. There is a building with several picnic tables and restroom and also picnic table at the parking lot. Definitely enjoyed my time here. Edit: reaching the handicap accessible observation tower is almost inaccessible for them as you will go through a rocky wobbly path for at least 20-30 minutes. You can get information and including on how to get there at my review of the peterholmtarnet tower on Google. I think this road needs to be more smooth for them or build a tower much closer to the parking lot. Great nature place, with a lovely view over the lake. It is a nice lake, there Is a peacefull place with WC and place for rest during trip. Food own. Another magical place. You walk on a tongue of land that divides a salt lake. This also looks like something out of a Studio Ghibli film.
