Filsø near Henne Strand on the west coast of Jutland was once one of Denmark's largest lakes, but was drained in various projects between 1852 and 1951 to create agricultural land on the poor coastline. There is a lot of wind to Cool you off, beautiful and peaceful sight and walking through the nature and you can walk all the other way to the other side. There is a building with several picnic tables and restroom and also picnic table at the parking lot. Definitely enjoyed my time here. Edit: reaching the handicap accessible observation tower is almost inaccessible for them as you will go through a rocky wobbly path for at least 20-30 minutes. I think this road needs to be more smooth for them or build a tower much closer to the parking lot. Great nature place, with a lovely view over the lake.
