My friends enjoyed chicken skew and salmon dishes. Appetizers were nice though Piliakalnio Kiemelis — a wonderful spot by the river. The chicken shashlik was delicious, and so were the coffee, fresh desserts, and homemade ice creams. Highly recommended. After reading other reviews I had an inpression that its only snacks and cakes, but they also have ribs so I assume would be a nice place to have dinner Perfect coffee shop for stopping by on a bike. The place was truly something else, offering a breathtaking view of the Nemunas river that was the main draw for us. The staff appeared genuinely pleasant. But, oh boy, let's talk about the food. It was honestly a letdown. I went for the pancakes with feta and spinach, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a disaster. The spinach felt like they missed a good wash—they had that crunchy dirt vibe going on. And get this, the spinach stems were just hanging out, not even properly trimmed. It's like they slapped some cheese on the pancakes and then randomly scattered spinach on top straight from the box. Furthermore, should you be on the hunt for authentic gelato, I would strongly discourage considering theirs. Regretfully, I must confess that it doesn't even qualify as a notably good version of ice cream. Place is 5* river and the forest is great, but the food is 1*… Crispy Chicken salad (8€) wasn’t even with real chicken and didn’t have any taste for that matter and those ice cream are definetely not gelato….
