Enjoyed a great dinner here (the restaurant right next to our hotel- Radisson Viking Hotel) . The 'Afterwork' Special Monday through Friday is from 1500-1900. The Pork Filet was delicious. We sat outside which was lovely on a summer evening. Service was also excellent The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the city center, which makes it an ideal stop after exploring. The laid-back vibe and friendly service made the experience even better. Definitely a cool spot to relax and unwind! Best place to enjoy sport and having Irish British view.. Great time with the family! Beer choice amazing and very affordable! Our service was very professional! Our selection of food was great and the food great too! We do not talk about fine food but after a long day of walk! We came out of the blue, surprise! This place is really nice and quite central. Haven’t tried the food myself but heard it’s quite nice, drinks are great but most importantly the is super nice, behind the bar, the waiters and even the security guards are very friendly, that’s unusual in Stockholm! They also have a DJ every night from 10 pm to 3 am and the music is really nice. Would recommend to anyone visiting Stockholm, we really enjoyed the vibe inside the restaurant and also the waiters were great with us. Thanks 😀 Great drinks so we came back, but terrible service... Both times. Unless you are spending money they want nothing to do with you. The act like they are there against their will and are afraid to or cant work at something they enjoy. The laughing duck must be the true origins of stockholm syndrome. I was clearly next in line for a drink and the grumpy girl over me and served the boy behind me. Only stayed because the drink was cheap. Worst place ever! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! I showed up to the bar as sober as a judge, and the doorman refused to let me in because he claimed I had drank too much. Obviously they only want some specific type of clientele, and I didn't check whatever boxes they had in mind. Based on other Google Reviews, it appears as though this is a common occurrence at this dump of a bar. I went a couple of doors down to Olhyttan and the bartender there (who was super sweet!) told me that she's heard a lot of complaints from customers about the doormen at The Laughing Duck . Go to Olhyttan or The Bishops Arms instead of this trashy establishment! They will treat you much better there than at The Laughing Duck! I came here for my first bar of the evening and watched a line of stumbling white guys walk in while the bouncer demanded to know how many drinks I’d had. This is the only place in Stockholm where I’ve experienced this sort of thing. Disappointing, but not unexpected from a tourist trap. Near to centrum. They got music on, it's a spot to meet up with friends and make a new one also they have a game spot. After dinner at the Sheraton and getting my work counterparts we decided to go to the laughing duck at it was one of the only places open in that area for food and drinks. I walked up, bouncer at me and says you can't come in your drunk. I said "I am drunk" he said yes. I at him, at his friends beside him which were all guys eating kebabs, also like they made them. I just walked away. Power of the dollar. I didn't drink but after walking by there again and seeing the people going in and out it's just understandable. Think twice about entering. I walked in with high hopes but there is nothing to laugh about here! My enquiries on local IPA beers were met with a gruff hand gesture and a terse message that none were available. So I got a lager and was told how to put in a tip. I took my lager out the front to be confronted with smokers (including the security guard and staff) just two paces from the entrance with smoke blowing back on the diners. I retreated inside and went to try and find a menu. An enquiry at the bar saw one procured but with no engagement or information on how to order. So I went back to my table and waited, and waited, and waited then eventually caught the attention of a member to find I needed to order at the bar (despite others seeming to order at the table). So I went to the bar to unfortunately inconvenience them with my order and again ran the gauntlet of distain from the bar staff. My meal, a simple penne pasta in a tomato cream sauce, eventually arrived and was ok and better when I mixed to cold shrimp piled on top through the dish. The serving size was good. The venue was at maybe 30% capacity so no excuses there. The rest of the could learn from the one girl that I saw looking after the outside tables with attention and a smile. I chose to move on but you have been warned! Visited with 2 of my friends on 20th March 2025 evening, the security guy stopped 2 of mine female friends and told them they are not allowed to go inside, the reason is: my female friends were not asked him and not talked to him and not at him! Wow, unbelievable! The Worst security I have seen in my life! very nice spot, best pub food i’ve had in a hot second, recommend the burger After work with my colleague, we decide to go for a beer in that bar just to relax but the manager and in the same time the bar woman she have very rude with us and aggressive I ask her for some nuts because I didn’t hear. I asked one more time and she Start to scream to me and she told me I will not gonna give you any nuts and just drink your beer and leave the place with very rude and aggressive way.
