Wonderful ruins with spectacular views I am always fascinated by walking on the same ground as people from history. Imagining the stories of what happened. Picturing how people lived their daily lives. I was only 30 minutes, but am hour would be better to properly walk and see. This is an incredible place, even though it's just a ruin. The views, town, and ruin are enchanting. The dragons all over town, and the dragon museum, are fun. The old town pedestrian zones are filled with timber beamed old buildings. I feel fortunate to live just 20 minutes away. Great view from up top. Beautiful place. This place is definitely the most beautiful place I have ever been to. This is a small town in the mountainous area with very friendly and peaceful neighbourhoods. There was sunset to the West and then a fullmoon rising to the East, absolutely amazing! Absolutely brilliant destination for a weekend hike on a sunny day. We took the path "Li 6" (there are several other hiking path, from where you can choose), which is roughly 12.5 Km. The "FORT" (or Brug) is a nice place with a fantastic view-point. There is an "ice cream" shop on the way towards entrance. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!! Only one downside being, to begin with the hiking it is OPTIMUM if you have your own car or rented car, otherwise the "starting point of the hike" can be tricky to reach via public transport. Hands down this is nice place where can see overview of small village with great skyline.
