Beautiful place for family Picnic.I have been there many times and really enjoyed spending time with family and in this park. There is a play area for kids,there are some like horse,lamb,pig,horse,hens and ducks in the farm. Many places for Bbq as well WC available . Nice having an open air auditorium, some animals, ride on cars for and a mini playground. They organize Loppis or boot market in that place. They also organize fifferent activities for during summer. A small but charming park, I went for the Midsommar and they made some great events and activities. Spacious and clean park, there are designated parking and grilling areas. Also a cafe nearby serving coffee and sandwiches Plenty of parking spots, good place to hangout with Hågelbyparken was a wonderful escape from the city, and a perfect day out for our family. Whether your love animals, playgrounds, or just running wild in nature, this has something for everyone. This charming just outside Stockholm offered the perfect contrast: nature, play, animals, and calm—all in one place. Rating: 5/5 – A must-visit for families traveling with kids. Easy too reach with both public transports and car Recommended. We visited on a delightful afternoon blessed with lovely weather. The gardens were truly a highlight, beautifully maintained and perfect for a leisurely stroll. There is an abundance of open lawn space, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing picnic amidst nature’s splendour. Parking was ample, ensuring a hassle-free start to our visit. If the main parking area happens to be full, worry not, as there is additional parking available along the northern side of the park. However, we were a tad disappointed by the limited variety of animals. During our visit, we only encountered chickens and sheep in their pens. It would have been wonderful to see a greater diversity of to enhance the overall experience. Really radiant place, the garden is full of surprises such as open space for barbecue and a scene and even a grass field to have a picknick. Café and a toilet free of charge. Really nice place to disconnect from the city. Last but not least, flea market on weekends. Off-season (?) visit meant that most were gone for summer vacation! 🙂 Anyhow, Cafe Anna Giertz was still open and offered a delicious lunch. A quiet place about 20 km from Stockholm. Nice park, café, playground for kids, lake Aspen. Very relaxing place. It is a wonderful unfortunately in the two times I have visited it seemed like there are less and some areas felt like they are not being taken care of. Still it is a wonderful place to take to since they can run and play and pet the sheep and goats.
