The owners are different since the last time I was here, like, three years ago. I got a meaty and asked for onions, peppers, and extra cheese. The problem was, yeah, it came out way too fast. I think he was trying to cook it faster in the wood-fired oven, so he was lifting the up high, which cooks the outside too fast. It burned the outside but didn't cook the inside. The veggies were crunchy, the cheese wasn't crispy, and the dough was gooey and soggy. The tomato sauce needed way more flavor. It was just a really bland pizza. Have to re do this review as the service is now terrible. We live 5mins away and it took nearly 2 hours for delivery on multiple occasions. We had to stop ordering from here. We gave them another shot this weekend but the same thing happened. Driver was told to deliver far away orders first. So our order always came cold. Phone line disconnected so cannot call. If delivery was not possible a simple phone call would be nice to say hey we have your food but it’s going to be awhile could you collect instead. Quality of the food is also gone down hill. They were very friendly and shared lots of laughs with us. They gave us some great tips for Ireland travel along with some amazing chocolate deserts that were on the house. was more New York, than New York Pizza. This oven they have and the ingredients are on another level. We plan on staying at the Druids Glenn Hotel next time we go to Ireland and this is a must stop after having a few pints down at Molly's Pub. Thanks Shack!! Ordered and came within 10mins, and I live about 10mins from this place, so I knew it was not going to be good. Chips were not even cooked, and the was chewy and greasy. Very dissapointed. after re-opening recently, the product quality at Shack is just awful. portion sizes and meal deal specifics have massively decreased, while the prices have gone up. the shack fries are always underdone and under-seasoned. pizzas themselves are always absolutely swimming in oil. and the customer service is abysmal. staff themselves are absolutely lovely and as helpful as they can be - but on two separate occasions when i've tried to elevate an issue to a management level, i've been completely ignored even though i've made phone calls and sent emails. Shack used to be incredible and hopefully will be once more, but at the moment the food is shocking and the management is somehow worse. Really bad experience. They have an offer online where you buy 2 14” pizzas and get a 10 inch free. We ordered 4 and never got a free one. When I explained it to the man the following day he said it had to be ordered through the app. Rubbish. No apology, no offer of even 1 free one. Really really poor. Very disappointing as I like to support local business. This place use to be lovely tried it for first time since new ownership it was terrible.
