Been to Dublin, then you know how the pubs go. service, food, outstanding atmosphere without talking down on the neighbors. This is no exception to that. Even the staff not dealing with us asked how we were. True caring people, the Irish! Sláinte Very nice and trendy! They had specials for the day and it was sea bass today. My son tried it and said it was great! Most of our party ordered the fish and chips. Fish was very good, the chips could have had more seasoning and they charge you for extra tartar sauce. My grandson got the duck and loved it. My granddaughter got the stir fry with chicken and said it was excellent! I shared the lasagna with my mom and it was way less than average. No flavor at all and the bread was hard. We all ordered dessert and the apple crisp was a hit! Had a lovely gluten free full Irish here today. Eggs, rasher, mushroom, tomato, beans and toast. Would have loved sausages but they substituted in more rasher, Definitely one of the gluten free breakfasts. Parking outside too and wasn't expensive for the food Very happy. Had a lovely lunch here. I did think it would have been a lot busier but it was really nice. A lovely atmosphere when you walked in and the choices on the menu was lovely. Open to correction, l hope l have the ladies correct name that served us? Lisa? She was so nice and helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Lovely big premises. Toilets immaculate. Good value. Absolutely incredible food service and really well priced, I was stuffed and will be back for more. There are so many options we ended up tasting each others meals so good. Very nice service, atmosphere and food. Put 4 stars as the food was very good but the bread with the seafood chowder was very dry, the fries not homemade and Belgium waffles (desert of the day) not fresh (they were the cold ones you can buy in a bag). Bad value. We did not get much food. High price, mains were kids size meals. My 11 year old got adults portion and walk out hungry. Do not waste your money and time here. I had the afters to my daughter christening there the place was clean the function room was really nice. I asked my music to be played in the back ground choice of music. Everyone who was at the christening enjoyed the food and the service and how spaced out the function room was plus there was a few kids there from the ages of 2 to 11 years old and had a time dancing and having fun. The service was any food left over including cake were put into food containers not was left to waste. The staff were not pushing us out the door when our time was up which Everyone was happy with as well highly recommended again to be honest. U could fit around 80 to 100 ppl in the function room Really enjoyed our visit to Mcs & Harvey! We had the duck in orange sauce – it was tender, juicy and the sauce was delicious. We also tried the bangers and mash – really well made: tasty sausages and creamy mashed potatoes with a rich, flavorful gravy. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A lovely place – we’ll definitely be back! We were staying in Ireland for a couple of nights. We spent all day travelling, had gone round in circles trying to find a decent place to eat and were tired and grumpy. This place was recommended by some locals. It was AWESOME. The staff were so helpful and friendly, I'd go back based on them alone! The food was out of this world. In the UK, pub food is average, but this seemed the next level pub grub for exactly same prices. Superb. If I ever visit Ireland again I would definitely return Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
