Lots of stones, little sand, water was quite murky with lots of seaweed & rocks. Some might not like the feel of the seaweed others might benefit from water shoes to protect feet. That said, the view was lovely, the people there friendly and the overall atmosphere was a family one. Great walk till the beach. Peaceful with handful of people around. Good for picnics and enjoying with family. Nice and quiet much loved by the local people. It's a stoney at high but at low the sand is exposed. It's better to swim at high as then you are swimming over the sand. When swimming at low there can be a lot of rocks and seaweed. Big rocks to sit on and watch the world go by. There are a few parking spots at the top but on a busy day you will have to park further up the road. Very steep path and ramp down to the but it would be buggy friendly until you get only the beach. Visited the on low 🌊 day and you will be able to walk on the sand. Clean and less crowded beach. On sunny days it's good for swims Shankill is a hidden gem with beautiful views of the coastline and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s great for a quiet walk or simply enjoying the sound of the waves. The benches along the path are a nice touch, making it a perfect spot to relax. Definitely worth visiting for some tranquility. Absolutely amazing, great place to relax,be with yourself far away from all the daily outcome. Recommend Not crowded at all. In october/november you can see the beautiful sunrise and understand William Turner's paintings. It's a gorgeous with long shoreline to walk. It's a rocky but if you catch a good low tide, you can enjoy a walk on the sand. Lots of people swim as well or have a picnic Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
