It was an incredible visit, I went with my animal care class. The sound of the birds and the stream are calming, the reserve is well cared for and clean. There is no need to pay to enter, and there is parking right at the entrance. It was a great tour, I highly recommend it. Beautiful part of the country. Absolutely beautiful location with an easy circular route either side of the which is ideal for families or dog walking, but also a much longer hike up the valley sides (which currently requires a lot of climbing over fallen trees) which is also beautiful. The is ideal for kids to paddle in. Fantastic place! Great for a walk. It's muddy at times so bring your wellies or hiking boots. There is signs saying to keep your dog on a leash but not everyone does that. Parking is limited. Drive in slowly because the road is narrow. Great place to walk your dogs and family. Big and tons of forest. What an amazing experience, you go here on a Sunny day and you will feel you have reached heaven on earth. The sounds of flowing water and chirping birds reminds you to slow down in life and enjoy. Must visit. It is not very crowded, best place for beginners who are looking to go on trails. You can easily spend 1-2 hours here. This is a beautiful trail, but I highly recommend wearing hiking boots with good grip, as the rocks can be slippery and there’s mud in some areas. Some parts of the trail are quite steep, adding to the challenge, especially if you’re doing the full loop. The views along the way are stunning, and you’ll pass through sections of woodland that feel like they’re straight out of a fairytale. I also suggest using an app like AllTrails to help navigate, as it’s easy to lose your way. A beautiful place where you could disconnect from all the noise of the city without the long distance trip. Just about 10 mins.away from Bray. You can get lost with nature here and enjoy the sound of the birds chirping away while watching the relaxing flow of water from the river. We also enjoyed watching the movement of super cute tadpoals. Beautiful place! Really lovely place for a hike lots of different trails to explore. I brought my dogs and they loved it. Beautiful forests and rivers and clearings to have a picnic in. I can’t wait for the summer to go back and see it in all its glory. First half starting from Enniskerry is good path, nice bridges. You can continue the path northwards following the valley but it gets kind of dangerous due to a lot of fallen trees that you have to get over or crawl under! i wouldnt recommend this I do it on a bike, its a challenge bit lovely wood Beautiful walk through the forest. Beautiful scenery across a A Hidden Gem in County Wicklow! Knocksink Wood is a truly magical spot, especially if you're looking for a peaceful nature walk surrounded by ancient woodland. The trails are easy to follow, with wooden bridges and streams adding a fairy-tale charm to the experience. It's perfect for families, casual walkers, or anyone who just wants to escape into nature for a while. The woodland is rich in biodiversity, and you can hear birdsong all around. After rainfall, the place feels especially alive, with the running stronger and the mossy trees looking even more vibrant. It's not a long hike, but it’s perfect for a relaxed afternoon stroll. Parking is available but can fill up quickly on weekends, so arrive early if you can. Overall, Knocksink Wood is a beautiful, well-kept natural retreat just a short drive from Dublin. Highly recommend it! Perfect walk for families! My children love coming here 🌿 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
