We stopped in on a quiet day and it was the perfect pit stop! The location is just off the old military road and is set on the historic grounds. The cafe itself is a size and we took advantage of the patio views. This is a beautiful piece to visit, great history and a lovely old church, it a old British Army barracks. Full of history. We ordered the quiche and carrot cake- both were very for a quick little bite with cappuccinos. There was a little of a line to order but staff was very and worked quickly. Little gift shop that had little trinkets that we picked up as the prices were very reasonable. We also purchase the Wicklow honey for sale. Picnic table also available outside if you have your pup or are lucky and have a weather day. The drive to this location was stunning, take you time and stop at the pull offs for photos, you may even see some sheep crossing the road! If your not use to driving in Ireland the lanes can be extremely tight with lots of cyclists so please keep an eye out! A very place to get a bite after a long hike. Coffee and savory pastries were delicious, and not pricey at all. There's a big parking lot outside which is also a motivation for a visit. Crafty relishes and honey can also be purchased there. The scenery is fantastic as you travel to come here driving the path of the Dublin Mountain and its situated just off the Wicklow Way. We paid 3 cups of cappuccino for 10 euro, not bad :) for a coffee price. You can bring your food as they have pinic table in a weather. Staff are friendly, toilet is clean with free parking. It was but i pass and did not recieved a welcome attention from the staff... But the place its Lovely little find when travelling by car through the Wicklow Mountains. We spent €15.70 on two americanos and two cakes, which felt quite reasonable for the quality. You’re welcome to bring your own food too, as the picnic tables are ideal in weather.
