Really good food and service. We had the steak sandwich with chunky chips which was very tasty, the portion of onion rings was lovely too. Plenty of choice on the menu with daily specials as well. Big fan of the Wicklow arms, we go here from time to time but I never take photos so took some photos this time. Craft beer on tap with great food choices. Amazing pub. Great service. Food was unreal we had the beef lasagne and the beef Sunday roast. Mussels to start and pavlova for dessert. Would contemplate flying back over to Ireland from the UK just to eat here again. The best burger I've ever eaten! Absolutely delicious food! Excellent from lovely staff. We ate there initially and had the Sunday roast beef which was incredible. On our next visit I had the burger and my husband had the fish & chips. Highly recommend! One of the most satisfying gastro-experiences of my life. Visited the premises with my family and we tasted excellent food and lived a great atmosphere, up to the level of native Irish tradition. Thank you! Love the Wicklow Arms. The food is tasty and well presented. The specials are always gorgeous so go for those. Atmosphere, decor and cleanliness is lovely. The are always helpful and nice. Good too. We (volunteers for Delgany Tidy Towns) were harassed by the owner for using the car park. It was heritage weekend in Delgany and we were hosting a free guided tour of delgany and glen of the downs (happens once a year). People on said tour had bought from the shops in the unit, and some were planning on getting lunch in the Wicklow arms after. The owner, James, angrily came over to us when we were gathering for the walk at 10am, and aggressively told us to leave and that we should not be parked there. He only backed down after a few of us stood up for the volunteers and told him he was out of line. Volunteers from tidy towns helped out with a wonderful heritage weekend, which brought a lot of business to the village and Wicklow Arms. This is how they were thanked by the owner, being intimidated and harassed. Great food and fantastic service. Eleven of our family were in for drinks and a meal at the weekend. Mick and his gave us top class service. Friendly, fast and extremely professional. Food was super too. Thanks folks for doing a great job 💪 We recently held our daughter’s christening at the Wicklow Arms, and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue! We had around 60 guests, and the function room was perfect for our group - very spacious and beautifully presented. The food was delicious- we pre ordered a selection of sandwiches and finger foods, and teas and coffee. Barbara and her were absolutely amazing - very attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout the day. Barbara was also very helpful on the lead up to the big day, we exchanged many emails/calls discussing the event which made everything run very smooth! Thanks all for a great day Recently booked a private area to the side for 19 people to celebrate our child’s christening with an meal and drinks. Food and was excellent and exactly what we were looking for from the meal. The were exceptionally helpful. Some of our party wanted to watch the all Ireland final which the turned on without volume at our request. We will definitely be recommending to friends. We had a beautiful farewell for our darling Mum yesterday I only rang Friday morning Barbara O'Gorman could not have been more understanding. Mum passed quickly The food and was amazing the scones baked the sandwiches all so fresh and plenty choice. I'm weird about soups and have to the vegetables soup was just freshly made And obviously the coffee and Tea. No rush on us leaving own private area. Amazing place Went there for the quiz on a Thursday and had an amazing time. Such good fun and hosted brilliantly. The food is amazing as per and Guinness is fantastic!! Highly recommended! 10/10 Myself and my husband were only here on monday. We only started going to the Wicklow arms(our second time), but we absolutely love it, its a really lovely pub, plenty of tables to choose from. It was a little chilly however, we wouldn't be sitting around for long. But the food is really really good, I had the roast beef it was so good, my husband had the fish and chips and onion rings, even though we were fairly full we both got the ice cream and it was also so nice. ( Well done to your chef) He/she is a keeper😉 👏 👍 The young lady that served us on both occasions was really lovely, very friendly, polite and helpful. We would definitely recommend the Wicklow arms to everyone, you definitely would not be disappointed, support your local pubs, its a little 💎 Thanks to all the wonderful staff.
