Basic selection of items . We tried borsch - it was just ok, pelmeni - I think they were store bought, but quite tasty and varrnyky. Varenyky was my main problem : I ordered ones with cheese( so since they are sweet they come with sweet sauce) but half the portion was with potato ! And potato btw were better. But still a weird mistake. Service is very nice and kind , so I believe it was a honest mistake. I go to gourmet Shankill occasionally when I need good food. My last visit was no exception. I had a 4 egg omelette,chips, and a cappuccino. I have now found a café that serves the best omelette I have had. The staff were on point the meal came out in good time and the prices were pretty good. I hope to go back very soon. First time there, lovely spot. Nice ladies and good food. Food was boring and un appetising partner got all day fry it was rank !! I asked for brown soda bread with my dish, and got cheapest brown slice pan (muck) you could find thrown on a plate. When we went up to pay i could see straight into kitchen it gave me the hibby jebbies, bambree full of cooked sausages/rashers left sitting out for anyone to see could of been there all day. And most probably nuked or thrown in fryer for a minute. It actually turned my stomach!!! To say the least. That only what I could see from the counter ewwwwww was all I could think of get me outta here. To say we will never drop in again is an understatement. What a let down in every aspect. Stay well clear if you respect your stomach !!! One sausage on a breakfast sandwich is a hate crime and should be punishable in court. Christmas Eve and you hand me a two slices of bread and one sausage sliced in half. I’m genuinely hurt to the core. I hope you get a big bag of coal tomorrow.
