Kristianstad, Sweden Tourist attraction

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. There is always an element of fun and thrill when visiting a sight that could be in the Guinness Book of Records. This is the case for Sweden's lowest point, found a couple of kilometres just outside Kristianstad, in northeastern Scania. When you reach there, it does not feel like much, but the signage and information panels do their job to bring you back to reality and tell you that you would be completely submerged by seawater if the land you are standing on had not been reclaimed a few centuries ago and then protected with a system of embankments. It is one of those spots on earth where concerns are raised and solutions are sought for the rising sea levels resulting from climate change. Exciting, movie was made there with a sect Dancing Hari Krishna to the Viking Gods Funny to learn about this place Tja laagste punt. Kon niet merken dat ik lager stond dan een eind verderop. The nearest parking lot is about 500m from the point. A bit of a muddy walk on rainy days. It has a picnic area but there is nothing more to see than the landmark and the explanation. Ingen större upplevelse, men nu har vi varit här. 2.32 m below sea level, this is supposedly the lowest point in Sweden. The place itself has an info sign and there's a table to sit at, but otherwise there's little to see here Kind of cool to be there for a quick stop. No special surroundings and the road is noisy. Very nice place, interesting fact is that it is below sea level. You can park by nearby petrol station and walk about 10minutes Good place explorer! Astonishing engineering. Not worth to go here. Nothing is here, the 200m walk is on a dirty, muddy track. Looks like some abandoned metal was put together by someone. Dissappointed.:( The lowest point is basically a pole that marks the spot. There are a couple of picknick tables in the area if you can stand the road noise from the nearby highway and the smell from the nearby water treatment plant when the wind blows in this direction. Ingen större upplevelse. Nichts besonderes und trotzdem interessant mal unter dem Meeresspiegel zu stehen Inte så himla spektakulärt kanske. Intressant att punkten ligger under havsnivå. Bra info men jättetråkigt omgivning! Fantastiskt Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
