Discrete The museum may be great, but damn the staff are rude. My ferry was delayed 1.5 hours and I already had a ticket purchased. I arrived at 1:20pm. They closed the ticket office at 1:15pm. I politely asked to enter, but they refused me entry even though they were open. On the website (www.aditusculture.com) where I purchased my tickets online, the opening hours for my day was 8:30 till 14:00. They stated they close at 13:45. I pleaded to let me in since I have come a long way, but they refused. For 5 minutes they wouldn't let me enter after they had been paid and I had a valid ticket? Sincerely, I hope they receive the same treatment on their holidays. Unfortunately this museum needs to be restored and cleaned. The staff that work it is not efficient. They don’t have enough maps in English and in Italian languages. They need to improve many copies also in different languages like French, Spanish, German, Japanese .... The beauties inside of it are all together without a criteria. Very impossible to contemplate one by one because rooms are very small, light no good and too much dust. Impossible to visit with a group of many people because you have to be careful to don’t broke anything. I hope that that can find a good solution for this problems. Don’t forget that museum Jatta is national museum. I want to help them. I am apulian and I am proud of this beauties. We had the best experience here. The staff were so friendly, showing us to the exhibition, pointing to the best pieces, helping us make the most of the collection. Do come and visit this place, you will not regret it! Not recommended for International guests. Even thought the reception is engaged, the Overall experience is bland. There were no texts whatsoever. After 15 minutes you've seen everything. Audioguides must be purchased for 5€ per Person... The museum is closed for renovations. I tried to visit today 7 October 2023.
