Lots of exhibitions with descriptions in a cosy, clean, air-conditioned place. The historian, Reni, was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Great museum. New and renovated. 3 floors of history. Well organised exposition, even not very big, contains interesting historical artefacts, books and pictures related to Botevgrad / Orhanie / Samunjievo area. One of the best museums I've been to in Bulgaria. They have wide range of eras you can see inside and the people working there can tell you about everything. It's very cheap entrance and beautiful souvenirs Probably one of the best museums I'm visited in Bulgaria, for a smallish town it lots to offer, the building itself is very prestigious, inside it gets better. Very nice reception and a small explanation of the building and the displays. Situated in the centre of a lovely town square/ pedestrian street. The halls are newly renovated and they are ordered in a very nice way with signs in BG and EN. The items shown are presented well and the info posters show the perfect amount of info to keep things interesting. There are also diorama like corners. The ticket lady was very polite and gave us a lot of info as well. Would love to visit again! The Museum is big and you can see the different chapters of the Bulgarian history.
