Funster doesn’t disappoint. It’s a great place to bring the children. They can away without any worries with the secure entry and exit system. There is a very reasonably priced cafe with hot food, tea, coffee, snacks. It is a great place for a children’s also. Great place for kids.Easy to keep an eye on them when their playing in the softplay area.Well worth the visit. Also great for a birthday party.Plus we need to support these places as there are not many of them around Visited today due to birthday party..As I have a child who is a flight risk I had comfort knowing added security gate that was operated by staff..Play Area is great and it is very easy to keep eye on ..added areas such as house is there if the busy area is too much ..thought the idea of going up a tower to the birthday room for the was an added bonus as the loved it,staff was very helpful and actively involved in handing food and drinks to the ..would definitely have Funster Centre as a top place in future to go for day visits and parties ..Staff was polite .Area for parents / group parties to sit and facilities for adults to get food and have a hot /cold drink Would highly recommend to parents with autism ...ear defenders maybe needed as there is alot of noise ( which is usual ) but plenty of areas to seat away from busy areas Great way for the to burn off some energy. Staff very friendly. Id love to see Funster extend the frame as they have lots of space to do so.. My kid adores this place and it's so nice that he has options to around in. Though he's way too young to avail, I think the fire escape jungle gym leading up to the room is genius. I also think the staff is super lovely. They got my kid a highchair when it's time to eat... We got goujons and chips. Non inclusive. Singled out a 10year old because of her height. Should be based on an age not height. So a 45 year old short man could go on the playframe? Talk about giving a child a complex. Won't be returning. Place is huge for kids, I am not just happy with the foods, a portion of chips which is ok but having 2 small nuggets and 2 sausages cocktails with it per child is I guess unreasonable. The bags that we organised before we left home and were left inside the huge paper bag was everywhere on the ground and was mixed with the other bags that doesn’t belong to us, some shoes were mixed with other shoes too from the other kids, but no doubt, staffs are really friendly. They are amazing!! Those are only my concerns, foods, and bags got mixed up with others and shoes as well. Other than that, place is perfect for any occasions. Nearly everytime we attend funster with our child, he catches a sickness the next day. I notice the area is not cleaned or sanitised over the course of the day even if it was extremely busy. Some other activity centres close their doors every few hours for cleaning and this should be the same for all Attended this place for an early morning birthday party. My one piece of sanity after rushing around was a cup of coffee which I purchased enroute to the centre. Quite shocked and annoyed if im honest to be told by a staff memebr upon entering that I couldn't bring my coffee in with me but that I could stand outside and drink it if I wanted too!! Bit of a silly request in these current times as you are paying enough to enter these places as it is. It's a bad decision to put chocolate so that the can get it safely. Not all can have chocolate, and unfortunately not all understand this. I ask you to pay attention to this and choose another less accessible for dream for chocolate We came to have a nice time, and unfortunately we had to leave this place after only 15 minutes - because the chocolate Absolutely disgusted that are being turned down because of their height it should be a max age not height, it’s not fair at all for tall kids. I’ve been to funster on more than one occasion and every time it seems to baffle me. My attended a a few months back, I purchased a coffee. I proceeded with my into the seating area but was stopped upon entry. I was told that I wasn’t allowed to bring any drinks with me and like a child I had to drink my coffee outside. I was annoyed about this but I made sure it wasn’t going to happen again. 2 weeks later I attended with friends, I paid 28€ for the 3 and my friend went to the counter to buy a latte and a jug of orange (it wasn’t even miwadi). She was gobsmacked as was I when she told me that she paid over €7 for a jug of squash and a latte (latte was in a small cup and not a tall glass like it should) I thought it was absolute rip-off. The plastic cups could also do with a wash with hot water and fairy… we had planned to buy our lunch there but with the service and the price, we went else where. so annoyed and will not be returning again!
