Not cheap, but then the location being right by the amusement park is likely what allows the price. The service building are nice and clean, although the one behind reception has very bad locking mechanism, so it is difficult to know if they are in fact locked from inside and this lead to more than one incident of the door being opened by someone when it should have been locked. The train on one side and road across the river on the other side are also not quiet, however this didn't affect our sleep after walking through the park all day and being super tired. It was fine for the location to the park, but won't be back. Very low value for money. This is really only for RVs, no tents due to noise and services not included We have stayed in August 2019. It is a great camping near Lillehammer. It has fresh and clean toilets, showers, electricity outlets, kitchen, small bar with snacks and coffee. Few things to know before visiting: for hot shower and using kitchen appliance you need to pay extra (should be same in other places), the camping is quite close to a highway and a train track, so it might be quite noisy. But the views are great and they are for free :) Nice showers, and toilets, located between a railroad and a highway, anyways still a good place for children. No WiFi, elecrisiti, corona-closed kitchen, means no place to wash dishes. Mixed tent, caravans and motor homes on a nice flat big lawn. Such nice place could be organized just a bit better (during high season) to get a better score. Very high noise from railway (right next to camping place) . Also a main highway on otherside of valley has high noise levels . Both of these are 24 hrs so can get annoying. Toilet facilities and kitchen are however excellent . Very clean and well kept. Not recommended for tents due to noise. Location however is superb. Beautiful scenery and lots to see and do. No wifi so if you need it ensure you have a good data package.Good facilities in close proximity for shopping in øyer around 2.5 kilometer from site. Would have give 4 stars but the train and road noise levels were a little excessive.
