The food was excellent—fresh, authentic, and beautifully prepared, with flavors that truly reflect the region. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel comfortable and well looked after throughout our visit. Combined with the stunning mountain setting, it made for a memorable and relaxing lunch stop. Rifugio Pelizzo is a place where quality, atmosphere, and hospitality come together flawlessly. Highly recommended. Wow, what a friendly place, took a Motorbike trip up the mountain and found this gem, highly recommended, good coffee and cake and the staff is really nice. Last year (2017) I stayed in a lot of mountain refuges while walking the GR5. The Rifugio Pelizzo beats them all. Excellent food and lots of it! Friendly staff, good wine, good coffee. Nice room, clean bathroom, hot water.... Overall excellent. Nice place, easy reachable by car. Nice staff. Tasty bakeries. Will sure come again to taste their lunch and their big colection of home made aperitives 😊 Such a nice hut, a short hike to the top of the mountain with stunning views! Food was absolutely amazing, had beef tartare and superb ravioli. BUT… waited way too long to be served. Didn’t receive ordered drinks. Couldn’t ask anyone why. Upon paying “accidentally” charged both unreceived drinks and one extra coperto… so, be careful. A wonderful refuge serving delicious food - super comfy beds and fluffy duvets (don't forget to bring your sleeping bag liner). Everhone is super welcoming and the views are breath taking. Hike up the summit behind the refuge if that's not where you've arrived from. Excellent food, super friendly staff and the location is lovely. Very good food and relaxed environment.
