The location within the vineyards is outstanding, making for a much different experience that is very nice to encounter. They go the extra mile in organizing transport by coach back to Budapest, in case you wish to stay in the big city rather than to book accommodation outside on the countryside. The location is brilliant, the music well it is varies, sometimes just once great names wo any really serious production, even the old songs sounds dull, like 2018 SoulIISoul. Or one of my biggest disappointment ever St. Germain, whch was simply awful. On the other hands there are great concerts as well in 2017 Mario Biondi, or in 2018 Jamie Cullum. The prices are bit high compare to the performance. Organization is again half good half bad. The local bus transportation is really convenient, on the other hands you can buy only the wines of the organizer, Homola wines, that is not a wide variety......plus you have to pay with card c'moooon that is baaad. Great festival. Multiples options for drinks and food, and programs for kids, near to a train station (25 minutes walking). Great time at Jazzpiknik!!! Sajnos elmosta az eső a szombati napot, de amíg ott voltunk minden szuper volt. Tiszta, rendezett mosdók, bőséges parkolás. Családias hangulat, szuper dekorok. Drága és urizáló unszimpatikus a közeg. A helyszín nem rossz, pláne, hogy a színpad előtti tér emelkedik, így a rálátás a színpadra mindenhonnan remek, a hangzás jó. A fő fellépő 30 perc után abbahagyta időjárási anomáliák miatt, majd mindenki ki lett dobva, 0 kompenzáció, vagy esőnap meghirdetéssel. A fesztivál buszon legalább ezek után nem kellett jegyet venni, ez pozitív volt. It's titled as "jazz", but most of main stage is barely jazz music. There are a few smaller stages with better music (for my taste) You can hardly buy soft drinks. Food!! Drink prices are not high, they are INSANE and unreasonable.
