Église Notre-Dame-de-Beauregard d'Orgon

Cavaillon, France Catholic church

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Beautiful point of view... Well worth the treck up there from Orgon (only for the sure footed) with a spectacular vista once you get up there. Not much to see at the first castle, a quaint little catholic and for the keen eyed the second castle (with view point) has some impressive rock cuttings dating back to the middle ages. They could do more historical things after a hot march up there. My wife and I visited in October 2019 and were very impressed with the beauty of this place. Both the view from the top of this hill and the interior of the are well worth a visit. Be careful on the last kilometer of your climb up the road toward the top as it is a narrow windy one way affair. Be vigilant! Do pay a visit to this wonderful place! Have been seeing this from the autoroute for 30 years travelling south/north. So took a trip up there, the actual interior of the is quite small and plain but worth a visit if in the area. A 300mtr narrow road leads to the parking area with a few passing places however, there is parking before committing to this stretch of road and you can walk the rest of the way. One thing definitely to see is the view at the highest point, take the path to the left of the church. Also a fabulous pottery on sight with some lovely pieces to buy, the lady working there was very helpful when we chose the piece we wanted, prices very reasonable. PS: there was no snack or refreshments on site and toilets were locked. Nice View and old plus ruines of (maybe) a Castle. Very small Road, in high Session ist may be better to Walk Up. Église Notre-Dame-de-Beauregard, a Catholic Churchis a hidden gem nestled high in the hills, offering a serene escape from the bustle of daily life. The itself exudes a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for quiet reflection. However, what truly sets this place apart is the breathtaking view of the valley below. The panorama is simply spectacular and worth the visit alone. Be mindful, though—the road leading up to the is quite narrow, so it's essential to drive carefully. Once you reach the top, you'll find that it's an ideal spot for a picnic, painting, or simply gathering your thoughts in the tranquil surroundings. Whether you're seeking inspiration or just a peaceful retreat, this lovely place has a unique charm that will captivate you. Great place, very narrow road to reach. Be careful if you are not an excellent driver. Interesting with beautiful ironwork chandeliers. Quite plain stonework inside, but all the more beautiful for that. Spectacular views across the Durance to the Luberon mountains from the parking area .
