The staff was nice, English spoken, the line is nothing special, parking is on a another side of the town. No shades We had a fun and challenging in the Vélorail des Alpilles with my three kids. It was a unique way to discover the beautiful landscapes of Provence, along an old railway line that dates back to 1875. The Vélorail is a pedal-powered vehicle that can accommodate up to five people. The kids loved to the bikes themselves and help us move along the tracks. The was hard but worth it, as we enjoyed the views of the Abbey of Montmajour, the fields of sunflowers and lavender, and the hills of the Alpilles. We also learned about the history and culture of the region, thanks to the informative signs and the mobile app that guided us along the way because the guide spoke only Frence. The lasted about 1h30 and covered 10 km round trip. It was a great adventure for the whole family. A beautiful way to explore the hidden countryside of the Alpilles. Our family of four took turns pedaling. An easy for young and old. Fantastic views of the Abbey of Montmajour and the landscape made famous by Van Gogh. The whole family loved the experience. Big thanks to the team for imagining such a great use for old railways. We hope the idea will spread! Marie was very helpful and explained things to us in English separately as the entire tour was going to be in French. The was a little over an hour long. Make sure to have a reservation beforehand. Very relaxing and beautiful in general. You can easily get away with just one adult pedaling as long as there’s only 2 adults in your rail in total. Super moment !!! A lot of fun, Also with toddlers or younger children. Cycling is relatively easy when you have at least 2 adults peddling you’re always good to go ☺️ nice holiday activity We really enjoyed this. It was beautiful scenery and everyone had a chance to pedal for a bit but also take a break. Great for adults and kids. Go for the 9am session in Summer, it was breezy (for us) and very enjoyable. Lots of blackcurrant to pickup at the half way mark 😉 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
