The receptionist said my file wasn't complete and I needed a recent heart evaluation. I could not find an open appointment here, therefore my general practitioner approved for me to go to Brussels with Ryan Air to get it. I got a last minute ticket, but since Ryan Air flies every other day to Brussels, I had to stay 2 nights in Brussels. Clinique d'Orange secretariat telephoned to me (afternoon of 27.02.2002) in the middle of my examination by Dr. A. Wetzel. He had just finished by EKG which was normal. I handed the phone to him intending that she would explain anything else that she needed. She screamed at him and hung up the phone. Therefore the exam ended. Dr. A. Wetzel, no relation, tended my husband at his death, traveled with Doctor's Without Borders all over the world, and works with the Brussels Police on casework. He could be retired at over 70 years, but enjoys helping others. She had no right to scream and hang up on him. I have known him for most of my adult life and am insulted with how we were treated. I had a friend in Uzes call for an explanation...and the secretariat called me the "stupid one". Clinique d'Orange has lost all my respect. p.s. It cost me over 1000E and I still was offered no appointment. You should not treat Dr. Mill that way. It was not his fault. He was correct.
