Service top. Delicious and well cooked beef. I think I was here for the second time. The reservation we did was ok and we had a lovely table. The menu is full of choices. I choose the ‘spies’ and that was OK. My wife had the duck and she loved it. Someone from our little group had the spareribs and that was a good choice too. A lot of meat! All main courses came with fries and salad and plentiful so that’s great. The service was OK and friendly. The restaurant interior is like a brown café and there is a place with open fire. Overall the atmosphere is good, the food is good but a little (not extremely) pricey imo. They don’t have an English menu (tip) but with google translate you can find your way. Bistro 't Kannetje serves good meals. The hamburgers are a bit greasy yet tasty. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Not too expensive. A lot of different beers are available. The special taste is the sour beer which reboot your taste cells and is a great experience to make. Good food, great service, and lovely place to grab lunch or a nice dinner. I had dinner with my brother and his wife here 2 times, we had perfectly cooked steakes and ice cold beers in the sun. Reasonably priced food and happy smiles by the staff!:)) Food average. Portions small. Som food was not served even 65 minutes. Not enough waiters for amount of guets. Really slow service Waiting for the glas of vie on not that busy terrace for 15 minutes The food was very bad and the fries were so oily and old ( seems to be fried few times) I asked for fresh ones and yet it was terrible. I don’t recommend the burger ( unless if you would like to experience a big plastic meet burger covered with loads of salty toppings) .. good luck !
