It's not a sand so make sure you have something for your feet like flipflops. Riding the cable car will be an experience for children and you can also ride with a stroller, the cable car and the paths are adapted for this! Parking in front of the cable car is free Really lovely place for kids. The was cold but the kids didn’t care and enjoyed paddling them throwing themselves off the top diving board! Eldest went paddleboarding (13+) boats and pedals for hire too. So clean - water and beach side. Plenty of places to sit around the lake. Good toilets and changing rooms. Nice cafe with good prices for drinks and snacks and ice creams. Terrible experience. Although the view was stunning, directions to find the were terrible. There were many people there trying to find the way to get there, and were all equally lost. also the walk was pretty far. By the time I got there at 3:15 two and a half hours before closing the boat hire was already closed due to a private event. I was not warned of this beforehand, and that was the whole reason why I came. Total waste of money.
