Good but not great, I'd say it's great value for money if you get the full package, the one which includes the pork knuckle and unlimited beer The itself was nice but short and if you are a aficionado you will not learn anything here, it's just a marketing ploy for the beer I dropped a star because the store is a rip off, the prices there are higher than supermarkets in nearby Csikszereda which is ridiculous If you don't go by car it's quite difficult and/or expensive to reach: you are stuck with taxis or a train that runs at odd hours Been going here since 2017. Always wonderful service, an awesome lunch and lots of items in the gift shop. They organized a promo with a free event where you can eat and drink as much as you can and as well as a concert. They grossly oversold the winning beercaps and then they could not handle the masses that turned up. I went to the event but could not get to the food, the soup was gone before the event even started. Perfect example of greed and misorganization. It was a mess. Some people I met came 1000 kilometers to feel like in an overpopulated prisoncamp waiting hours in line to get a cup of free or cheapest sausage you can buy. I will not buy their any more. Products (both and chips) are exceptional and worth 5 stars. The production also is impressive. They were the reason why we wanted to come visit the factory. However, the of visiting and touring is very weak… We did a blind tasting and they offered 6 beers. In the end, they never told us which is which. We were a group of 30 people and they rushed us super hard, barely offered us any chips for how many people we were. Also, they were giving each immediately one after another, it feels like a fast-food. No explanation about the we have, everything felt so commercial, like “let’s finish as soon as possible because we have another group after you.” The price they ask for the if you want the food as well included is high, compared to the offered. Please train your employees better, there is no storytelling, everything feels so rushed and I got the impression you don’t care about the visitors. You can spend a delightfull couple of hours here visiting the brewing facilityes, tasting various sortiments of and enjoying a traditional pork leg cooked in bread. The guided is verry interesting and the gift at the entrance is verry well stocked. Well worth the detour if your in the area and have a designated driver. Remember to make a reservation on the phone and check the visiting hours before you go there. If you make a reservation in the morning it would be ok for a visit in the afternoon. We had a great at the factory, we needed to get an appointment for the but it was okay, they confirmed it quickly. We arrived a bit earlier so we went into the gift and bought souvenirs. The started punctual and with a pint (or more) which obviously was a good start :) then the guide spoke about the history of the manufacture and the process, it was interesting not boring at all. We could try the ingredients and watch the workers doing their job. We got a look of the selection of the beers and other products at the end, could try a fruity (blueberry) then we went to the yard where we got an incredible ham specialty (it was optional, to pay). We could refill our glasses with any time we wanted. Until this point everything was 5 stars. Then we went back to gift on our way out because we wanted to buy some for home (as one of us couldn't try them at the being the driver) and we wanted to buy a 6pack but there was no option that we choose which one we wanted in it. We were disappointed but agreed to take a mixed 6pack, plus we selected some other items and at the end at the cashier said that we couldn't pay with card only cash (where we paid with card before the tour). So we left the beers and everything there and went home (and bought Csiki beers from the supermarket). My suggestion is that in the gift give an option to select the bottles for your own 6pack (maybe for the max price) and allow to pay by card. I still keep the 5* rating and I hope that you will improve with that. The was extremely short and the was not working at the time because it was a holiday. I don't think it's a good idea to continue to offer tours when the is not operating. That is actually the reason we pay the money. You are offered free at the beginning and the end of the tour. Unfortunatelly, there are no 0% alcohol options, so drivers cannot enjoy the experince. Which again is very disappointing, as there are no alternatives to get a can of to take with you and enjoy later. So the entire started with negative feelings. Overall, it was very expensive for what it offered, we were very disappointed. At least we got to taste raw hop and got free bags of chips at the end. There was also a little selling and merchandise. Krisztina's presentation made it a really nice experience, the is amazing, the food likewise! Great afternoon activity all in all! We were in the area and stopped to see if we cam visit the factory. We were really impressed that the was possible, even though it was only two of us. The girl that showed us around and explained the making process and the history was really nice. At the end of the we bought some from the shop. You also get to taste the beer, the hops and the chips during the tour. All in all: 5 star experience! Nagyon kedvesen fogadtak! O experiență plăcută! It was an enjoyable for the whole family and a nice end to our day. The children particularly enjoyed the crisps (that’s chips for you American types) and seeing the brewing and bottling process. The grown ups also enjoyed sampling the as well! There is a very well stocked little on site selling merchandise and, of course, beer.
