One of the better campings in Norway we have visited so far. Clean facilities, free shower, relaxing sit area, and delicious pizza's. There's a small football field and a playground for kids. This place has good spots for tents as well. The host(ess) was very friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of electricity connections. There are quite some seasonal caravans but it is in a different area than the campsite. It's also nice to go for a swim in the river right down the campsite. Nice campsite. Good for relaxing and fishing. They have a boat for rent. Beautifully located on Randsfjord. Helpful and friendly staff. This morning I broke my tentpole at another campground, so I wanted to rent a cabin upon my arrival at Lyngfjord. When the man at the reception heard of my broken tent pole, he immediately took the pole and had it repaired. Thanks! Beautifully situated on the lake. Nice and quiet. Cranes (birds) in the field next to the camping. Lovely calm campsite by the lake with a stunning view. Very kind and helpful hosts. Sanitary is fine you have to pay for the shower (10 nok for 5 minutes). There are a lot of nice hikingtrails in the area. 260 nok/night with a tent and two people as of aug '25 Would recommend! Nice surroundings, have a beach for a dip, and far from noise. Lota space, but maybe lack of socket if camper do not need one, there are a few nice spots. Clean facilities, 1 kitchen sink only. Much uneven ground. We stayed in a simple cabin for two persons. The price was really reasonable, 400 NOK for one night. The owner was really really friendly and helpfull. Overall the campsite looked nice, but could've been more clean and organized in my opinion. A beautiful place though, next to a lake. And maybe vacuüm underneath the bed would be nice😬. Most facilities are free 😄. Nice addition; in the morning you get a wake-up call and/or are visited by the chickens. One of the best and cheapest places I've been around that area! A lot of places for camping cars and tents, really cosy and clean cabins. Perfect place for family weekend! If you enjoy awesome food, that place is a must! Moose meat pizza was my favorite!
