Wow, had no plan to go here, but it turns out this is the best outside service in the area considering sun. Amazing service and food. Not expected at all. Service, they struggle, being understaffed. But wow what an attitude. Really recomend the cod!! Overall, a nice dinner, although I know others have not been satisfied before. I had a chicken ballontine with fried potatoes. I would have liked a little more vegetables. The decor was nothing special. The staff's knowledge was very varied, some could use a little more training, but everyone was nice We had to sit outside because we only wanted to drink something. The rest of the bar was nearly empty... Got served once for two hours. The view was nice but it was to cold to enjoy it. We had dinner here my partner and I on our last day of a 6 days hike. All we needed was good food and beer, and we were very satisfied by this restaurant. The staff was very welcoming and spoke perfect English. Hedda took care of us and she did an amazing job. She spoke french which was perfect and helped us with some good recommendations. I've stayed in the Elite group of hotels in different places in Sweden, & all have either attached or opposite a Bishops Arms pub, great places with brilliant atmosphere, staff, food & drink Firstly the staff were brilliant, the service was very good. I have been to two other Bishops Arms in Sweden, and they are all pretty similar. Its based on an old British pub, but it feels like they have tried a bit too hard and missed the mark. The decor is cluttered and outdated. I know that's partly the idea, but it could do with a refresh. It had been a long day, and I just had a hot chocolate and cake. The cake was 4 stars, not bad, but the hot chocolate was terrible. It was brown water. Definitely would not recommend it. Personally, I would recommend going out into town if you have time. If, like me, you are tired and just want something convenient to the hotel, then it's not a bad place to eat. Some dishes on the tables around me looked quite good. Did a forfoodies 'smakpromenade'. The food served was 2 pieces of cheese, 1 small piece of salami, 2 olives and cherry tomatoes, a piece salted cucumber. Quality was ok but not related to a foodies event. Disappointing. Zero points. The worst service and place I have ever been. Slow orders, waiters are not speaking English, Swedish, Finnish nor Spanish. Their beer tanks are empty and takes long to order food, and they are mixing orders I do not recommend.
