Not sure how this place can be preferable by some people. First of all this is not sandy beach. Slippery stones on the sea bed, quite dangerous, for kids especially. Water isn’t clear as well. Nothing around, neither coffee shop or restaurant, only old demolished buildings and dusty parking near by. Stay away from this beach. Nice little spot away from the crowds with free parking. Nice place to watch aircraft landing and taking off from too. Shame about the litter. We refrained from spearfishing! 😉 side, for locals, not so tidy. Some trashes here and there... has cuple of parking spots. Stayed there with simple car with rooftop tent, without a problems. Airplane close by, but at night planes doesn't fly. There's one bar, not a very commercial place -- that's a good thing. I went to this as it came up as a sandy beach. It really isn't and to boot it's right beside the airport so you get low flying planes going over every 5-10 minutes. We didn't stay long as we felt like we were getting covered in aviation fuel. Very nice pebble near Trogir, it is the most beautiful for sunbathing and chilling on the beach, for swimming it is not the best because the sea is very shallow and has a lot of seagrass. I highly recommend Only for sunbathing but there are spots closer to the city and the walk from the city to the is not very nice (and mostly without shade). The pebbles are just big and slippery enough to make bathing shoes a must, the water is very shallow and the ground is mostly covered in seagrass. There are some ruins but it's not the charming roman kind but the graffitied concrete huts kind. It's tempting to use the treecover for shade but the fallen needles are sticky with resin. All in all i would not recommend this unless one wants to just lie in the sun away from most people. I have mixed feelings about this beach. On the one hand, there is a combination of sand and rocks and trees that provide shade and a nice view. But the water was quite dirty, too shallow and there were pieces of broken glass bottles lying all over the beach. I'm sure you can find better beaches than this in the area.
