There are better places to spend the time in Trogir… We went to Martinini on Saturday evening at around 10pm. The bar is located at the entry of the old town of Trogir on a lively corner. We decided to start with a Rosé wine but had to find out that wine can only be ordered in bottles except the no name house wine. We ordered a mini bottle of the Rosé from the menu which had a really bad taste. The DJ wasn't good, he canceled songs that had already been played or mixed songs together that didn't fit. The sound system is average at best.The prices for Longdrinks and Cocktails are the same as in international bars or clubs in other European countries like Soain, Italy, Greece or Germany. In the other countries mentioned, however, I also get a reasonable DJ, a sound system and a better selection and quality of at these prices, and there are separate smoking areas. The venue looks lovely but don't let that fool you. By far the worst by staff I have ever encountered. When our came to the table, we paid in cash as they do not accept card payment and told the waitress to keep the remainder which was a generous tip but she couldn't have been less friendly if she tried and the seemed to have got worse after that. This is a cool place for such a small local town. If you get there at the right moment, you may just end up having a great time. There are fun cocktail nights on the Wednesday, where get as cheap as they come, but the weekends promise a party as well. The music is nice, with a mix of local and international vibes, and the place usually gets really busy at night. It surprised us that the was still really decent considering that fact - we didn't wait long for our at all. So, whether you grab a coffee, a drink, or just a simply vibe, it's all there. The locals love a party, and this place is as as it gets for such a small town.
