Most important is the food which was also great. We both got pizzas and they were amazing. Big with doughy puffy edges and cooked to perfection. Plenty of lovely fresh toppings and the nicest tasting tomato sauce I've had on a pizza. They let me have a glass of tap water with my (which in Croatia half the time places don't allow giving tap water!) and they have nice clean toilets. And they take credit card. We didn't finish one of the pizzas and they happily gave us a small box to take the rest back to our accommodation. We heated it in the microwave later in the day and it was nearly as as when it was first served (the sign of a dough!) Prices are for the sizes of the and I would highly recommend this restaurant. In general, we had the feeling that Croatia has become very expensive in the past 2-3 years. But this at least offers a quality. We ate there several times during our stay. Also, service is good! The food looked nice on the plate, but unfortunately had no real taste. For our children we ordered the chicken nuggets with fries from the kids’ menu – clearly frozen food, yet charged at €15 per portion. Overall, the prices are far too high for the quality provided. Service was also poor: plates were not cleared away, and when we asked to split the bill, the waiter simply said: “We don’t do that.” At first, they only showed us the total on a tablet – we only received an official bill after insisting. Important warning for all guests: In Croatia, restaurants are required to issue a printed bill! The waiters here try to avoid this in order to keep the money among themselves and bypass taxes. Such a shame – Croatia is a beautiful country with so much pride, but in this case we only experienced disrespect towards guests and the law. Absolutely not recommended!
