At 4pm on the afternoon of Thursday 24 October 2024, towards the end of a beautiful, warm, sunny day the restaurant was almost empty and a bit too cold. Not as cold as the toilets though! However the service (you order and pay at the bar) was quick and really friendly and the food was excellent. I guess this place, which is in a spectacular location, must be absolutely rammed at other times. So, although it was dead when we visited, for me that's preferable to a massive crowd. We would definitely recommend. This place looks awesome and I can definitely recommend to visit it. However, sometimes there are some confusing situations with the stuff - I don't mean waiters, but someone like a supervisor, but I'm not sure. I can just recommend to visit and check, but twice I have been treated not like a guest. I totally recommend the whole "Borowy Jar" area with great paths around the river, with a lot of rocks and overlooks. Stunning ! Perfect location , breathtakimg views. Plenty of seating on the balconies and patio so you can take it all in . Inside looks very lovely all decorated to a very high standard . Its a place that does wedding packages and seems like a dream to get married there. Lovely polish traditional food . Served in traditional tableware . Nice staff , good prices . There is a lot of trecking paths around so you can make a day trip out of going there . Very well hidden little gem ! You have to visit if you are in the area The food is unfortunately pretty overpriced. I had fried pierogi and zurek — the pierogi were good, but the zurek was overly salty and not very sour. The highlight of this restaurant is the view onto the river and bridge. Great location with lovely views of nature. However, the food didn’t match the high prices. Still, we had a great experience 👍 Went there only for lunch, unfortunately the service was rude and there’s no ventilation - couldn’t really enjoy the walk afterwards because everything smelled like fried food. The area is beautiful tho Beautiful place, we have visited many times over the years. We held a post wedding meal/small party here last weekend and it couldn’t have been better. Such a nice venue, the table looked amazing and the food was fantastic. The 2 women working there were amazing, very good service and the manager is great too. Everyone had a lovely time, highly recommended - thank you, we will be back! The place is nice and very attractive. We are not eating, that's why I can't rate the food.
