The Honeymoon Hotel was really fantastic. A very enjoyable experience. The story was a blast to follow along with and it has some really nice components. We two at DarkPark Delft today — The Dentist and The Freakshow — and both were absolutely great! You can tell that The Dentist has been around for a while, but it has aged really well and still offers an intense and immersive experience. The atmosphere and tension are spot on! The Freakshow, however, was our favorite of the two — an amazing mix of story, design, and surprises. The set and pacing kept us completely engaged from start to finish. Our gamemaster was fantastic — perfectly in character and guided the in a way that felt natural and immersive. We’ll definitely be back once the other two are ready. Can’t wait to see what DarkPark comes up with next! My first in an room, so i dont have any comparison. But i liked it a lot and will surely try more rooms. I did The dentist room, and it was an engaging and exciting experience. Service was great, friendly and informative and completed the experience. There are two rooms, both absolutely worth it! The decorations are and both have a nice, simple horror story. The atmosphere is fantastic. The Dentist has a bit more mathematical puzzles, Freakshow requires a bit more lateral thinking. Loved it! Great rooms! It was a !! One of my favourite in Netherlands. It was difficult but we manage to escape. Magic number: 4 persons. Not more. 3 with is ok too Really good puzzles! Went in there with 5 people, it took us 48:14 mins to solve it, had a lot of fun! (We were a bit late because the parking spot is hard to find, so come prepared!) Beter dan ik had durven dromen. Very good room, worth every penny The dentist: A really fun and one of the very first in the Netherlands, which makes it extra special to play. The atmosphere is dark and eerie, with plenty of clever to solve. There are quite a few padlocks—something I personally enjoy—but even as a first-generation room, it still holds up very well thanks to the strong use of sound and effects. Don’t expect over-the-top surprises, but do expect a ambience that DarkPark is known for, and this definitely delivers on that! If you’re playing the other DarkPark rooms, make sure to also try this one to see where it all began! The freakshow: They’ve really stepped things up in terms of decor and atmosphere compared to The Dentist (which was already very theatrical!). Personally, I preferred The Dentist a little more because its storyline felt clearer. In this room, the narrative was sometimes a bit vague, which made certain feel more linear and left me wondering why we were doing what we were doing. Because of that, the ending also felt a bit sudden—which is always a shame. That said, this is probably down to personal taste. Still, I absolutely recommend it. For its age, the holds up impressively well compared to other rooms. The decor is stunning, the custom-composed music and lighting create a fantastic atmosphere, and the freak show setting offers plenty of spaces to explore. And once again, a huge shoutout to Luke—an amazing game host who really elevated our experience! It was a fun experience. Host was friendly and polite. Did the freak show where the challenges were not too difficult but not too easy. A bit overpriced. UPDATE: After we the Honeymoon Hotel and the Freakshow last year, we decided to make it a family event this year and play the remaining with the kids. We started in Zoetermeer (reviews on the corresponding page) and on the last day my husband and I the Dentist while the kids the Freakshow. Not much more to say - excellent gamemasters who guided us perfectly through the game, stories and puzzles! The kids loved The Freakshow as much as we did - escaped with 7 minutes left and we made just it in time out of the dentist's chair with only 39 seconds left (and all of our teeth)😅 The light and sound effects were on point and there is always a complete and logical story behind the rooms. DarkPark, you've reached your goal - we felt alive and happy when we left and had a time as a family. Thank you!! 2023 It was our 9th Escaperoom and the 2nd from DarkPark - we the Honeymoon Hotel in Zoetermeer (5/5 too) and now the Freakshow in Delft. They were both SO good! The in the Freakshow were really different, so fun and challenging and really immersive. Our host/gamemaster Marie(?)-Louise was very nice and friendly and guided us excellent through the game. I wish I could play it again 🥲 but we'll come back to play the other rooms. Would definitely recommend!👍 We had a here. Welcoming and the host did a awesome job. The are decorated with so much passion and love and everything is so creative which makes the immersion perfect. I am looking forward to playing the rise of the phoenix. While I can not attest to the in person games, I can attest for everything else. Their tabletop games are a MUST for any fanatic. Seriously blown away by the design, gripping story, and challenging puzzles. Also, the customer service, SUPER AND AMAZING. Seriously, these are the people who you wish you could buy everything from.
