Nice camp with place for kids, clean restrooms, equipped well for RVs. Little bit expensive with rude receptionists, at least in our visir times. We booked a midweek wikkeltent to stay with the kids. They are very new although we had some issues. The beds were not assembled correctly and were unstable. Also there were screws pointing inside which was not very safe. We noticed the reception and the came to stabilize the bed. Camping is nice although as you are very close to your neighbours it can be a bit noisy with all the small kids. Some parts are also near a road which can make some noise. Apart from that, very nice camping with facilities for the kids. I stopped here during my cycling trip from Oslo. Initially no place was available, but they in the end found a place for my tent. Thank you! Very friendly. Has a bistro where you can buy some food. Also a supermarket is nearby. I got a very spacious place for the tent. We love this area of Holland - the beaches are great, the cycling is fantastic, the people are lovely - but there just aren’t many touring campsites around. On a previous trip we stayed at the rather amazing motorhome Park affiliated with De Klepperstee, but we couldn’t get a space there this time, so we opted for the campsite “proper”. On the positive - it’s cheap, the staff are friendly, it’s great for cycle access to the sea and to Oudorp (which is a great little town), there’s a tiny paddling pool for the kids, and a bit of a play park including a bouncy pillow. Also camping pitches are large and it’s nice and quiet. On the negative - the touring side of things has been neglected badly: the facilities are dated and a bit grim, the play area is rubbish, the grass needed cutting, there are few water taps and even fewer electric points. I think the low price reflects the facilities and so I didn’t feel cheated or ripped off - but would I recommend this place? Unfortunately not. Wonderful campsite, very clean, beautiful flowers.
