Great park, not too large, nice and cosy atmosphere. Lodges are in great condition. Nice snackbar en bistro. Although closed due to Corona, bit take away was available. Only remark are the rather small bedrooms. But the beds are comfy, even for a big person. We stayed 5days and we really loved our tinyhouse. We loved that it had a fridge, gascooker, dishwater and the porch was amazing! Sadly it was a little dusty and dirty in several corners. We also had to send our bedsheets back, because they were stained. But they fixed that problem right away. We recommend this stay for friends and couples who definitely don't have a problem with sharing little space I have been here some times before (a few years back) and always liked the place. But now it gets less stars, because no places were available for hikers/bikers today. One would expect that there would be a place for a tent for cyclists on their cying trip. Especially because the camping is along the north sea bicycle route. But they do not keep space for cyclists which are passing through. Perhaps in future they will (re)create such a place, and then I will update this review. UPDATED Not at all an enjoyable experience, especially due to the staff. We were asked if we wanted breakfast as an extra for 10.50, told about the tourist tax (1.50), and asked if we wanted sheets and towels without ANY mention of a price. After leaving, we got a bill double the size we expected, through Airbnb. On the phone, NOBODY from that place wanted to talk to us saying they are busy, and at the reception nobody mention the charge before we left. We had to talk to a person in the help center who couldn't help with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and told us to pay ASAP to avoid charges, not caring about what we had to say. Upon EU law it is mandatory to display prices BEFORE someone buys something. Challenging this at the moment, but I wouldn't trust the people working there to handle any of the issues that may come your way if you rent a house. We used the caravan private services for a week, and it was really good! The rooms were clean, staff friendly (and speak English!), food was tasty, and it was well located next to the Strand. We were able to do bike hires and really enjoyed it. Along with that, it is conveniently located next to the N57 main road, Oudorp town centre and an hour’s drive from places like Middelburg, Oostburg, Rotterdam and Den Haag. Facilities wise, the laundrette was really clean and the machines were industrial grade (Miele Professional Dryers and Washers). A nice football pitch and a sand pitch for every few cabins. Nice restaurant opened until late and a tasty snack bar. We did face minimal problems, like occasional cutoffs of electricity and hot water, but it was a one-off issue and the staff fixed it very quickly. For caravans: Great facilities like high Amp EHU, Water and caravan cleanup points, along with grey water and chemical waste disposal a stone (or shell’s) throw away. If you come with a motorhome, make sure someone helps you with turns towards the service point as it is quite narrow to turn. Summary: A must stay for any length for any visitor in South Netherlands or South Holland. 5/5 Incredibly nice place. Clean and tidy everywhere. Very pleasant and service minded staff. We had rented a Strandejutte. Not so big space, but more than enough space for 5 nights. We were 2 adults and 2 children, aged 12 and 13. The interior was clean and modern. The restaurant in the park was very good. They also had a snack bar which can also be recommended. The area around the park was also absolutely gorgeous. Strongly recommended.
