A very place to eat well presented food and very tasty meals. Prices are the same as in other pubs (around 22€ for a dish and 8,5 for a dessert). The restaurant is big but it gets filled very fast to be honest. Meal ends at 9pm so be careful Must-go restaurant! Great ambient, great food, great service Positively surprised with Mabel Lane, my son has his best Hamburger in Cork with a delicious melted cheese, my wife had a tacos and o had the toasted combo with Chowder, which was the best Chowder I’ve had in Ireland in my 6 years living here so far. The dishes are well priced and the portions are generous! We will definitely be back to try their breakfast, enjoy their happy hour with music and try other menu items A bar/restaurant. We were there for Sunday lunch. Parking behind the bar. Traffic in Carrigaline is heavy, if making a booking make sure to leave enough to get there. Not my first visiting Mabel Lane, and always the lunch as been lovely, first having their breakfast and was very tasty, the photo shows double the beans and pudding as my partner offered them to me 💪🏽😋 A more relaxed place to eat, the chef will perfect your plate before sending it. Lunch specials are really good. Cocktails are tip notch, pints are clean and crisp & the spirit collection is too die for. Really enjoyed the food here. Came for lunch and coffee after. Food was beautifully presented, portion sizes were spot on. Food was served quickly and piping hot. Staff were really nice, friendly and helpful. Only thing I would consider taking a mark of for was the large screens showing sports at lunchtime on a random Tuesday when there was nothing of note happening at the time. Otherwise the atmosphere was really nice: the bar is beautifully decorated. Would definitely come back, I'd love to take in some of the live music sometime. Had a fantastic fish chips peas and tartare sauce..18-19:00 euro not cheap but we ( Mrs) and myself had the same and we were pleasantly surprised..chips were great and fish and light. People at the bar a bit rowdy which I suppose kinda irked me but apart from that it's a big 👍. Back in for the Hendricks Gin pairing evening with the Mrs. Fabulous food and drinks. Fair dues to the kitchen staff/ chefs who put the menu together... Amazing quality. Staff was lovely. Food could have been better. There was just too much seasoning, the seafood chowder had aniseed and strong pepper, why?? Honestly who likes aniseed?? That was so distracting, couldn't eat much. The chicken wings were so spicy it burned my tongue (I'm writing this review on the day after and my burn is still burned). The pub is gorgeous and the vibe is really nice. This was my second to have breakfast here, first being a few months back and it was poor, second this week and it was lovely. It's good to see the breakfast offering has improved greatly, went for the full Irish and partner got the Shakshuka, both very happy. Big plus to be including the Coffee with the Irish breakfast instead of trying to squeeze more money out of us like so many others are doing now. I will be back 👍. Good bar, indoor seating at the bar and away from the bar for a more restaurant feel, coveted outdoor area with heating. Good food and excellent service. Sports TVs showing a number of events. From the moment of our arrival until our departure, Mable Lane provided an experience that was simply perfect. The warm welcome, the friendly staff, and the exceptional service and food were all truly remarkable. We enjoyed it so much that we have reserved it for a special birthday celebration. An outstanding band performed after the restaurant closed, contributing to a five-star evening overall. Food was delicious and really good value for money. Staff very friendly and professional. Great atmosphere. Toilets were stylish and immaculate which is a big plus! Highly recommend Lovely little place down from our hotel. Best meal we've had on our whole trip - and plenty to eat for my wife, even with her allergies. Our server was very personable and the staff overall were accommodating and pleasant. We know where we'll be dining the next we're here.
