Cozy place with friendly staff. We were just here for drinks and liked it. Nice and food bar in center of Umag. Relaxed atmosphere. Great selection of wines: Coronica, Cuj, Degrassi, and Kozlovic. Also try the olive oil by Mate and food from Buscina and Nono. It also has a shop where you can purchase and olive oil to take with you. Very nice place directly in the center. Live music and good drinks. Love this place Arianna is a superstar 😊 beautiful host! Food is amazing and prices are super good. I think this is only place worth of visiting in this small city… I will definitely come back Definitely the best place in Umag to get quality Istrian by glass. The food, small bites, dishes - really enjoyable pairing the wine. Modern and pleasant ambience. Service was better in the past, still solid... A very imaginative bar with some excellent tapas-to-pizza-like offerings. How about the avocado/salmon/mango combo? They are so considerate while marinating the salmon that they use no lemon, as that would kill it, turning it whiteish/pinkish. Bravo for the lady-chef. The owner sits down with you sometimes, if opportune. She is not pushy. Great wines, as they are related to the regional winery, Degrassi. The said owner can talk wines at a somellier level if you are into that. I would also recommend the pizza-like speciality called Pinsa. They come with various flavoured toppings Ambiente accogliente, personale molto gentile. Ottima musica con i FIRMA ⭐ 1 Star – My Conscience Made Me Do It I don’t normally leave negative reviews. I believe in good vibes, second chances, and keeping it classy. But this time? This time, my Istrian soul screamed louder than the rainstorm that forced us into this tourist trap of culinary regret. We were starving. It was pouring. We made the fatal mistake of walking into this place without checking Google reviews. Spoiler alert: learn from my pain. We ordered the “Istrian platter for two” and a couple of pizzas. Now, as a born and bred Istrian, I feel the need to publicly apologize to every single one of you who might think this was even remotely Istrian cuisine. The prosciutto? More like pressed regret, the kind of supermarket ham you find on a €0.99 discount next to expired mortadella. The sausages and bacon? Cheap, flavorless, industrial sadness. All of it overpriced, pretending to be when it was probably imported on a truck full of frozen lies. And the pizzas... oh, the pizzas. The dough? Meh. Not offensive. But it was drowning in cheap tomato sauce like it had fallen into the Adriatic. But cheese? Microdoses. Apparently, Gouda is a controlled substance now. The final blow? My son—who worships pizza like it's a food group—took one bite and put it down. One. Bite. We left everything untouched, like a sad still life. No one asked if anything was wrong. Which tells me this happens a lot. Honestly, they probably just reheat the rejected pizzas and pass them off to the next poor soul. To anyone reading this: Check reviews. Always. To the restaurant: Please stop offending Istria. We didn’t ask for this. We deserve better. And to my fellow travelers: I am so, so sorry if you ate here and thought this was our cuisine. We’ll make it up to you. Just not here. I came upon the ItIstria bar after a hard days bike ride and having been hassled by the restaurants on the waterfront. It’s the first time I’ve been able to taste quality Croatian wines by the glass. It was a great experience - I had a 2023 and 2015 Malvazija Bomarchese side by side with a marinara pizza. Really interesting to see the savoury / mineral variety, and its increased complexity after almost 10 years with some barrel aging. The waiter was knowledgeable and courteous and setting really pleasant, and there’s plenty on the menu to try. Disappointing! Great location and often stopped for a glass and snack when in Umag as we did today, however service was slow, had to go in to order first glass and signal for second. Table next door also left unattended and I am sure they would have enjoyed a second glass sitting in the sunshine. The two servers were just sat chatting behind the bar when I went to use the facilities which were grubby, unheard of in Istria, even in the most basic of bars. Worst service we have experienced in this area for a long time. We also asked for menu but no one came back so we left without eating. The Malvasia was good. Do not order spritz because it will cost you 4€ and it is just carbonated water with almost zero wine! Shame! Najbolja konobarica Adrianna i predobra hrana, jedino ugodno mjesto u Umagu gdje vas konobar smara. Jeli smo pinsu, omlet, toast, sve je bilo odlicno! I wanted a beer. No waiter for half an hour!!! Lijepa hrana, odlična usluga..sve pohvale za Ariannu koja nas je ugostila i dočekala ☺️ Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
