This restaurant/pizzeria recently opened just below the little family hotel. We came here for the pizza, and it was delicious. The crust is thicker than the Neapolitan style, and the ingredients are fresh and of good quality (pitless olives, fresh mushroom and pickled artichoke) 👌🏼 The parking in the front is free for guests. We had lunch here and everything from service to food was just amazing! We understand the situation with the staffing in the whole tourism industry sinit was even better to see the Owner who really cares about his guests as this has really become rarity these days. Also the food was just amazing. Steak was properly made and the gorgonzola sauce is one of the best I ever had. We also tried one pizza and I have to say that it was one of the best we had for a long time. Also a lot of negative comments are about high prices but they are really justified as you can see that the ingridients are of high quality, the dishes are very well made and also that a lot of work has been put in the very quality-made menu. Highly recommended! - 10 mins driving from the center of Umag - nearby parking available - solid sitting capacity and no need for reservation (at least during lunch time) - kids friendly - pricey but you pay the quality - attentive service, amazing was the beef in gorgonzola sauce, the meat has a special aromatic taste which lasts in your mouth:delicious and the pizza was great too,the dough was excellent and you can enjoy a big variety of local olive oils with their homemade soft bread. *Here again and the quality is still top and consistent - this is the best pizza in Umag's surroundings (I ordered Fantasia), the dough is amazing and the taste with soft prosciutto and parmigiano cheese simply delicious. Caprese salad, chicken meat rolls with homemade pommes, pasta carbonara and desserts (kinder bueno/ferrero rocher) really super tasty.Top service 5* We have been here three times and have always been very satisfied. Because of the amazingly tasty home-made food and drinks, and also because of the energetic and super open minded owner and the crew. They make everything with love and passion, and you can taste it with each and every bite of fresh food they serve! You simply cannot miss it when you are around! Super food, very nice ambient and Grilling at open fire inside (other top restaurants would call this "show grilling" but here it is just normal). People truly love their job and it shows. They make you feel welcome and are considerate. Got our dog a big bowl of water instantly. Our waiter memorised our order, without writing it down, and even remembered which plate belonged to whom. Very impressive! Now for the food 😋 We had pizza's and a calzone. Wow!
