In the summer the kitchen works all day, the food is good, the toilets are clean and best of all - there is a kids playground. It can be reached by car and there is an adequate amount of parking space. A few routes start from there and the Golden Bridges are only an hour away. Book beforehand in the high season. We arrived late afternoon and we were greeted in a very friendly way. Kids friendly, nature friendly. There is a new group of people taking care of the hut. We had a double room with a bathroom. The room and bathroom was clean. The food was simple and pricing reasonable. The beans soup was delicious. The hut was quiet and pleasant. The paths around are appropriate for young children, for bikes and also gentle hikes and peaceful picnics. Good luck with bringing new life to this wonderful place. The location is great and pretty close to Sofia . The cabin is in the mountain and very rustic. The host is very friendly and happy to help you if you need something. Also the food is very tasty. The downside is that some rooms where not so great but the attitude of the host and other things compensate for the rooms. A perfect place in the mountain, nice food and great location for trecking. There is a public transport bus stop near the place Perfect place to stay, to calm, possible to walk in the mountain or having a good meal!! Recommend to choose for a pleasant stay, its nearby in the city of Sofia, close to airport. The owner is kind and can provide you whatever is necessary for your arrival and accommodation.
