Speeltuin Heldenland

Leuven, Belgium Playground

This is the most unusual playground I have ever seen in my life, it is huge, has designated areas for younger and older kids, has many very special climbing frames, some of them are very dangerous for young kids, but they are very interesting, we spent there more than 1 hour, as always there was trash everywhere, but overally it was amazing experience for us, no toilets? This is a big playground in Tienen with a lot of outdoor plays. The zone for babies and older children are separated. There are plenty of activities during summer period. Some "static attractions" must have a better protection for the security of the kids. A lack of maintenance is visible. The most worrying thing is the present of some young and not-so-young people fooling around the playground. In most cases, they are clearly drinking alcoholic beverages. Hopefully that issues can be solved soon. Exciting, unusual, original playground. Big recommend! Nice place with drinks and toilets. You have to accompany your child if you let it go on the large installations. They saved money by welding and recycling, it looks very unique and creative but I would not approve of the design of the main attraction myself. It’s simply not safe so it needs a revision. Reminds me of a Mad Max movie set but more colourful. There are plenty of ‘regular’ safe attractions but it’s hard to tell a 4 year old not to go to the main one. On the other hand it’s good that a child can explore limits. Two stars are too many, Belgium the only country in the world that does not build anything for children, the country that hates children. 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 Good place to play with kids. Calm and spacious. It's nice to be there with my grandchild when the weather is so lovely today !🤗 Half the area seems abandoned and is definitely not suitable for kids. One of the playhouses even seems to be used as a squat (see picture). I will not come again Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
