Went here for a piano recital by young pianist tiago tortaro and it was wonderful also the acoustic are wonderful too. I love classical music so for me it was heavenly. The only negative thing I have to say is the state of the chairs inside the theatre. Otherwise, wonderful staff, great venue, parking close by, although you have to walk a little... Small venue. The seats are somewhat uncomfortable. Acoustics are off unless your in the balcony of the main hall. NOTE: the seat numbers are in the bottom of the seats. A great venue to enjoy the wide range of classical music presentations offered, all at very reasonable prices. Comfortable seating in stalls and balcony, not huge by any means, but never overcrowded. Situated close to the river promenade, car parks, and restaurants. Excellent venue, I enjoyed a Fado concert and was great. Only issue was the tech audio-light guys, they have to bright desk lights and were talking too loud during the concert Nice place for concert or theater....👍 Excellent. The last rows on top on the balcony may suffer from a bit of air stream/ventilation. Not only is this an excellent theatre, it also offered an excellent programme in the last three winter seasons. There's no cloakroom or bar like in many big theatres but it offers a not-too-big atmosphere and good views on the podium.
