Very interesting, Food, fair rides even cars were to be had Easy to get to location with good parking. Hall was suitable for the event attended. The interior was nice and well lit. However, I brought someone to the arena who was in a wheelchair and the parking is needlessly far from the entrance (Yes other non-accessible spots are closer to the main entrance), the exterior of the building is not wheelchair friendly. The exterior designers and people that maintain this building did not take into account distance to the front door, ramps, obstacles, smooth surfaces, it was difficult. The interior is fine and quite accessible. We went to the Feira de San Martino which is an annual fair with stalls selling clothes, shoes, household goods, toys etc. There are fairground rides and plenty of places for snacks. It is well attended. Every year in May there is a world cup in rhythmic gymnastics at the Portimão arena. Spectacular performances and an amazing show! And it's the free entrance! Visited the APAA stall of which I am a member. Then I walked around and stopped at the Oncology Stall and had a long chat there, after which I visited the Bombeiros de Portimão. They were all very friendly. All the stalls had enough space to advertise their services, the hall was well lit. I enjoyed my visit. It is easy to find off the A22, it has plenty of free parking and it is very spacious. An excellent event venue Attended a Expo for school leavers. Various training institutions had special displays. Was good nice clean modern location. friendly professional security and stuff. ok parkingarea. dogs are not allowed inside - which is totally ok but outside no parking spaces with shadow. so better leave your hairy furry 4 legged friends at home.
