Restaurants and Museum are in the vicinity. You also take the to Caves. A lot of boat+cave experience companies are around here. As a local I come here almost everyday to walk my dog and admire the sunrise. It's a good place, with the town's museum and an amazing restaurant next to it; there's a 24hour burguer site around as well. From here, next to the bridge you can also access the old town's traditional fish restaurants. You can walk from here to Praia da Rocha. A lot of events happen here on summer season. It's a lovely place to sit down and watch the world go by, plenty of places to eat and drink with great views across the river.
