Excellent for surfers. Some parts are wavy during certain times of the year. Excellent place to exercise. When low tide the extends through the caves to a another nice . The east side of the has a mineral clay in the rocks. The clay bath is an excellent addition to one of the most beautiful beaches in Lagos and possibly in the world! Famous beautiful beach. It was too windy today in late march but still very nice Absolutely gorgeous!! Breathtaking Great with lots of free parking, free wc / toilets and a restaurant. Benches and paved area as well and handicap parking out front too. Very accessible! My favourite place to surf in the Algarve when the south coast has decent waves. Nice long sandy beach, couple of great cafes/bars. Just has a nice vibe. Does attract alot of people due to being so close to Lagos but has a decent size carpark. Water here is much warmer than the west coast. People still swimming and sunbathing in November. Gorgeous beach, large enough to find a quiet spot, especially if you walk slightly further to either side. Crystal clear water, and plenty of space. During low tide you can walk to Praia do Canavial which is just on the left side of the cliffs. Be aware of high tide times, as some parts of the will go underwater. This is our favorite in Lagos! It is easily accesibile by car and by foot, the sand is great, sometimes there forms a lagoon, where children play in warmer water. If you go to Porto Mos, don't miss Campimar restaurant! It will make your whole day better! One of the favorite beaches, if not top, in the area. What sets it apart is that it is sizable, plenty of space to lay or play, clear water, amazing sea shells, great restaurants all around. A must visit if in Lagos.
