Nice small waterfall with great nature around, which is located close enough to the black cave. Once you park at the entrance or a bit further down, you will see the signs with useful instructions. The trail is fantastic with no particular difficulty until the waterfall. Once you pass the waterfall take the trail upwards and along the river. It can be a little slippery. You will pass a beautiful waterfall of a green rock but also some other waterfalls. You will need good shoes and preferably boots as some paths are being crossed by water. The cave at the end of that trail is impressive that raises questions on how and why. It is definitely worth a visit as the surroundings are marvelous. Calculate over an hour for the hike and picture and a bit more if you decide to take a swim. Diving a few minutes from Prouos village, you'll reach a bridge where you'll see a sign on the left side of the road and where you can park the car. From there, it's about a 1-kilometer walk - a very easy journey - to the edge of the cave. The cool, pleasant atmosphere and stunning scenery are captivating! The water in the pool is so clear that it stirs a deep desire to jump in and wash away the summer heat. It is impossible to be in a natural landscape in Greece and not be amazed by the beauty you experience. The water was not too cold and it was so nice! I hope we continue to keep it clean! Very nice route if you're interested in having a hike. There is a sign at the beginning of the route saying how long does each route take. We took the short one and it was very nice, about 15 min' each way, to the waterfall and back (going over the small wooden bridge). Nice place to sit for a cool-off in the middle of a hot summer's day. The parking is on the side of the road, where the road turns, so make sure you don't miss it (it's right next to a bridge you cross woth the car).
