Breakfast was beautifully laid out and plentiful. The views from inside and outside the hut are amazing. We would definitely stay again. Beautiful location, great local Austrian cuisine. Nice room. But best of all are the hosts which are very friendly, talkative and likable. Only stayed here for one night (which is usual when hiking). I was especially impressed by the beautiful breakfast buffet, which was above the general hut standard. ...also, two very friendly and well-behaved dogs hang around in the hut. I had a wonderful stay at Goisererhutte, and can't recommend it enough! I showed up tired, wet, and late after taking the long route from Bad Goisern (beautiful, but challenging - 5.5hrs vs 3hrs). I was received warmly by the friendly hosts, served a delicious meal (& choccy cake dessert), and a cold beer. The room was comfortable and warm, and breakfast was a delicious spread to fuel up for the hike down! The two Australian Shepards were extra welcoming as well. Go stay at Goisererhutte! Twisted ankle on the way down, managed to make it to their bagage lift. They were so kind to even call me a taxi! Super nice. For food I had the baerblauchnudeln which were very tasty. I stayed there a night. The hut is nicely located and very comfortable. Their Apfel Strudel is delicious! Took a hike from Bad Goisern up to Goisererhütte and it was one of the most beautiful treks I have ever taken! The view from the Hütte is superb, the working staff seems nice friendly!
